Assessment
Assessment is a crucial aspect of e-portfolios. Once you have created and inserted your artifacts (ie. individual pieces: essays, powerpoints, voice recordings, etc.), reflection upon this process is equally as important as the artifacts themselves.

Assessment however does not function as a synonym for grades.
-
Three diverse levels: individual (self), peer, & instructor
-
Possible ‘physical’ reflections: organization, flow, style, tagging, etc
-
Possible ‘learning’ reflections: shortcomings, hardships, importance of the assignment to assisting in proficiency
Your instructor will inform you of how your e-portfolio will be assessed by him/her, by your classmates and/or by your own self-reflection. You may receive a rubric such as the following examples.
